Design Approach

The client wanted a versatile logo that felt modern, detail-oriented, and inspired by pixel art without appearing overly playful or game-like. My approach was to balance a structured, technology-driven aesthetic with personal elements that represented his work, values, and Puerto Rican background.

I created a pixel-inspired visual identity featuring a coquí wearing a traditional pava hat. The coquí’s eye incorporates coding symbols and an AI-inspired shape, representing the client’s interest in programming and artificial intelligence. A vibrant palette of turquoise, navy, orange, and yellow gives the brand an energetic yet professional appearance, while the Tiny 5 and Geologica typefaces balance the pixel aesthetic with modern readability.

The final identity gave Dev Emmanuel a more distinctive and professional image while preserving the client’s personality and cultural roots. The logo communicates his expertise in technology and AI more clearly and provides a versatile system that can be used across digital platforms, social media, favicons, and future branded materials.
